This print was created by Tommy Perman for his solo exhibition with The Red Door Gallery, titled “Leith, in Red and Black”. Poulterer is no longer a commonly used term, and Craham Cherrie is one of the few remaining independent Butcher’s in Edinburgh who genuinely butcher their own meat and chicken. The hand painted signage also nods to a slower paced, handcrafted tradition. For more information about this exhibition, click here.
