This print was created by Tommy Perman for his solo exhibition with The Red Door Gallery, titled “Leith, in Red and Black”. Leith is a docklands district to the north of the city which is known for it’s socialist traditions and multicultural residents. Red and black are colours strongly entrenched in socialism and the Turkish Chippy reads as a celebration of multicultural Scotland. For more information about this exhibition, click here.
