Happy Halloween Everyone! There’s always a little bit of an eerie glow come night fall around the old buildings of Edinburgh. Even in our gallery ?. The Cadies And Witchery Tours on this very Victoria Street are sure to bring a Chill with the history behind some of the most gruesome Scots.
Everyone loves a pun and even more so when you can turn a sinister pair in to a rather dapper Bearke and Hare. These pair have been firm favourites from the Mister Peebles Halloween Window Installation.
Let us share with you some of our favourite slightly scary and sinister goodies.
Most of you will have heard of The Day of The Dead or Día de los Muertos. It’s a colourful celebration of honouring those that have passed. The sugar skull is the symbol of commemoration of the person you are honouring whether dead or alive. Sugar Skulls have been a popular subject through illustration and design because of the beautiful and often intricate designs these sugar skulls feature. We have a few favourites in the gallery. This Sugar Skull Tri Coin Holder. Hand made Locally by SodaKitsch, Perfect for keeping your coins safe.
We also love this graphic limited edition Gold Sugarskull Risograph by Rich Fairhead. We love the cool shimmery gold finish and the beautiful Tattoo inspired details of this Risograph. Also available Black Paper.
The bunnies are getting in on the act with their fancy dress. Rabbits Dressed as Bees and Robots. Could they get any cuter? Lots of new Ham prints have arrived to join the ever expanding collection this week. It’s now even more difficult to choose a favourite.
New Pencil Cases from Chase and Wonder have arrived. This is one of our favourites along with the Flower Cat Purse. Cute and Sinister all at the same time! 🙂 We’ve used the glasses to give the kitty a diguse. See the top image for a giggle. ?
