Brunswick Road Steps

Original price was: £ 15.00.Current price is: £ 12.00.

This print was created by Tommy Perman for his solo exhibition with The Red Door Gallery, titled “Leith, in Red and Black”.  This poster was the promotional image for his exhibition.  These steps were the pathway between the street side and the old General Post Office on Brunswick Road.  Designed for safe transition, these steps have been reclaimed by nature and become dangerous and slippy when even slightly damp.  This humorous sense of irony is a common thread in Tommy Perman’s work, whose compositional details allude to wider environmental, political and human ideals.  For more information about this exhibition, click here.

Tommy Perman is an Edinburgh-based artist, designer, musician and illustrator.  Tommy’s artwork focuses on his love of drawing architecture and urban landscapes. We exhibit a collection of his works that span the ten years since he graduated from Gray’s School of Art in 2002.

A Lithograph poster, approx 60 x 42 cm
