As with all Seymour’s prints, this started as a with pencil drawing which was then inked.  This monochrome drawing was then transferred to the computer for a final flourish of colour, shading and illumination!

All Seymour’s limited edition prints are produced in the UK on high quality archival stock, Seymour personally adds a debossed signature and provides a certificate of authenticity.

Seymour in the creative name Peter Kelk chooses to work under.  Peter was born in New Zealand in 1981, he graduated in 2002 having studied illustration at Wanganui School of Design.  He has spent time living in Vienna, Edinburgh and currently works from his studio in Berlin.  He has exhibited with The Red Door Gallery since graduating, his last solo exhibition was The Adventrues of The Antiquitarian.  Inspired by curios, junk and lost & found objects, he is truly intrigued by the often overlooked. Each work created is intended to visually record the amalgamation of Renaisence styles, Victoriana and present day techniques.  The characters portrayed exist within their own world and social landscape, but reflect ours.

7 Year Glitch is a signed and numbered Giclee Print on Hahnemühle archival Bamboo paper, in an edition of 30.

Seymour works in a diverse range of mediums including print, painting, and sculpture to create his stylistically recognizable pieces, for more information on his career or to hear about some of his one off pieces, please contact nicky@edinburghart.com
