Bothy A3 Risograph
This print is based on data collected from 81 Scottish Bothies.
The mountains in this print reflect the height above sea level of each mountain bothy in Scotland.
The base of the mountains are at sea level and each of the four mountains references a different latitude from 55°N to 58°N.
The details of each bothy, their height above sea level and their latitude are listed below the image.
The shading of the mountains is also taken from a photo of the rock below the lookout bothy in Skye.
The print is a risograph, which has been printed by Risotto Studio in Glasgow. Risograph is a cross between a screen print and a photocopy and uses soy based inks, which are environmentally friendly.
The paper has been made by a paper miill in Yorkshire using FSC accredited pulp.
