Devil Dance Card by Abbie Lois

A6 Greeting Card of original screen print ‘Devil Dance’.

One part of a mini-series depicting the different ways women were accused of witchcraft across Europe between 1500-1600s.

During their trials, women who were accused of witchcraft sometimes spoke of their ‘dealings’ with the devil. This included a whole array of acts (including dancing), “…in exchange for their service gave them the poisons, powders, and power through which to work their evil magic at his demand.” – (‘Devilische Wordis’ by Sierra Dye)

Blank inside, perfect for writing your own message. Comes with a brown Kraft envelope, with a compostable bag for extra protection.
