THE STORY OF THE EUREKA TRIBE
Jewellery is integral to the customs of dance and display of the central African tribe of the Eureka people. They are a society of exhibitionists who make decisions through intense dance and performance. Often authority is given to those with the most flamboyant costume. The Eureka are accomplished in four main crafts.
Jewellery is the most important, followed by textiles, mask making and body painting. Their Jewellery can also be used as high-value currency within their bartering system.
