Linoleum is a sustainable antibacterial material made from natural raw ingredients such as solidified linseed oil, pine rosin, cork dust, wood flour and minerals. It has manufacturing roots close to my home in Fife, Scotland.
Each piece of jewellery is carefully hand cut and finished with sterling silver findings. Items are presented in a gift box and packaged with minimal use of plastic.
There may be slight variations to colour on each design due to patterns on the linoleum.
Linoleum is surprisingly lightweight, allowing for big bold designs, most people find my Roslyn’s large earrings comfortable.
To keep items clean, she recommends a damp cloth. Avoid submerging linoleum in water, it should be fine if you’re caught out in the rain. Silver should be cleaned with a silver cleaning cloth.
