Here is a mini riso print to celebrate this moment: the face of the new moon! Some people say the moon’s face is hidden at this point, but I like to think it’s just that there may be difficulty seeing it when it’s not reflecting the sun’s glory. Food for thought!
This print was made using risograph, an eco-friendly low-energy printing process using rice-bran-oil based inks. It’s printed on Cairn Straw White 120 gsm 100% recycled paper, which gives it a lovely textured natural look.
The mix of smooth tonal blends and the retro dot-screen effect gives a modern twist to this traditional theme, and this New Moon print is perfect for scientists, storytellers and modern witches alike!
