Seaweed A3 Risograph
£ 35.00
In a bid to explore how much seaweed wraps its way around the coastlines, Ploterre ultimately found out more about the habitat it calls home.
This habitat is ultimately the data she used to plot the individual seaweed fronds. Rocky islands around the coastline of the British isles.
Each frond represents a different group covering Puffin Island in Wales to Muckle Flugga in the Shetland Islands. The length of the frond represents the total coastline length per group and the width indicates the number of islands included in those groups.
The island groups names twist their way around each frond just as the seaweed twists its way around the coastlines. The number at the base indicate the number of islands per group.
