The Red Door Gallery is pleased to introduce some funky new friends to our shop and they come from the land, sea and sky!

Currently sheltering in our shop we have a wee family of ceramic creations by Eleanor Meredith. A trio of beautiful Mermaids, a lazy Leopard and a dancing Tortoise included. Pop into the gallery for a closer look at their friendly faces!

Illustrator Eleanor Meredith originally hails from the wilds of West Lothian, Scotland and her studio is hidden at the top of a cinema in Hackney, London. We have A3 prints by Meredith which capture the magical energies of Mermaids, Disco Cats and Tortoise Towers alike!

Swimming about our shelves are A Wooden Tree’s fantastic Wee Narwhals. These Narwhal plushes are made with calico and stuffing and have soft vintage fabric tusks.

Also a brand new bunch of Highland Cow brooches, hand stitched and sculpted by A Wooden Tree from fabric. These unique pieces are an adorable tribute to one of Scotland’s much loved and iconic creatures!

Edinburgh based designer Twiggd has dazzled us with a delivery of lovely Swallow and Unicorn brooches. Her collection also includes Bears, Stags and delicate Bird stud earrings in an assortment of plumage colours.

Black Swan, Pink Flamingo and Unicorn Floaties have drifted to shore from DOIY design. These leisurely poolside bird bowls are a ceramic delight! Use them to serve up some stylish nibbles or maybe to store your swimming goggles?

Also a handy and oh so swish item is the DOIY Travel Laundry Bag. This cotton travel laundry bag is shaped as a “Koinobori” (mythical Japanese carp-shaped wind socks). It is a very handy travel mate thanks to its perfect hand-luggage size. Pack it flat and feed it with your dirty clothes during your trip. Catch either Red or Blue… or both!

And of course, with Mother’s Day approaching how about a card that features some creatures?  This sweet card form Whale and Bird is pretty special with an unusual gathering of things big and small, fluffy and Jurassic!

Explore the Red Door Gallery online or visit our Victoria Street shop to find a treat with a life of its own! Once you see their many, shiny, happy faces… you won’t be able to resist treating yourself to a few new creature comforts! Have a swell weekend you lovely creature! 🙂
