Fun Makes Good

Fun Makes Good was established in 2009 by Scottish Textile designer Eleanor Young after graduating from Glasgow School of Art in Embroidered Textiles.

The Glasgow based studio specialises in high quality, hand crafted home ware products and upholstered furniture and specialises in up-cycling old furniture into unique and contemporary items. Finding inspiration from architecture and kaleidoscopes, the studio concentrates on the relationship between bold angular lines, geometric shapes and striking colour palettes, combining locally sourced leathers, wools and hand dyed fabrics and the traditional skills; embroidery and patchwork to create their distinctive retro graphic aesthetic.
