Pleased To Meet

Berlin brand Pleased To meet started life as a yearly collection of greetings cards and in 2010, after 6 years of success, Daniella Koenn and Marcel Hornung decided to pack in their jobs at local creative agencies and concentrate full time on designing the selection of retro inspired cards, stationary, textiles designs and art prints that they offer today!
The couple each bring their own individual inspirations. Daniella, the illustrator behind the brand, is a self proclaimed home body who enjoys keeping cosy and safe at home and Marcel is impassioned by the experience of travelling to other cultures. Both lifestyles inform their product themes and they both agree that their two children are a huge influence on their designs and believe that this is why their designs bring joy to kids and adults alike.
They love details, provide the highest quality products and champion traditional techniques such as hand book binding and press printing. They enjoy the community of the process; from design to production and are very hands on from step one, working with local dedicated and motivated teams to bring their designs to fruition. All in the most ecological way possible too!
