We just love Easter time here in The Red Door Gallery – the promise of bright, colourful spring days and an excuse to eat delicious chocolate all day long! With Easter Weekend just a few hours away, we have an exhibition showcasing some new works by Edinburgh’s talented Rebecca Kaye and Tommy Perman along side bright, shape prints fresh from Mrs Eliot Books and character based illustrations from Robbie Porter.
The Grassmarket area is also hosting a bike race up our Victroia Street and we have created a cycle themed window to encourage them on, with some super sweet, vintage fabric teddies acting as cheerleaders!
You can also join in the Easter Egg Hunt in and around the Grassmarket Area – pop in to see us and pick up the map. There will be a £100 prize for the winner, drawn out from a hat.
Tommy Perman’s new gicclee print of The Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow is the feature of our window!
Along side Velo by Rebecca Kaye and Bicycle by Paper Aeroplane.
A vintage fabric teddy by The 1985 is waving his easter flags for the cycle racers as they fly by!
£25-£38 – please email nicky@edinburghart.com for images of the teddies and bunnies currently available.
Happy Easter Everyone!
