This Giclee print taken from an original painting with its hazy light during golden hour, was inspired by real scientific studies that showed participants who went outside and touched grass noted significant benefits such as: lowered anxiety, feelings of relaxation and comfort – and lowered blood pressure. The title of this piece was originally encountered online as a phrase to insult someone who is seemingly spending too much time online, is out of touch with the real world – and needs step away from their screen and go outside. Whatever the intention of saying it is, “go touch grass” seems to be some great advice – to log off and engage in some real life activities for our own positive mental well – being. Who knows, if you go touch grass – you might end up being the one more touched by nature than you think.
