A rush of unbridled joy to spur you on in this colourful mash up, inspired by Chinese ink brush paintings, and fun horseplay of the highest order. Did you know that the phrase ‘Horsing Around’ originates from the word ‘horseplay’, meaning to boisterously fool around or engage in energetic play?

People born in the year of the Horse are said to have boundless energy and a thirst for adventure, and are seen to be social creatures that symbolise vitality and freedom.

The story goes that the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac were brought together in a great race by the Jade Emperor, to determine the order in which they would come in, with the Horse coming in 7th place.

The number 7 is significant in many cultures across the world: with the seven colours of the rainbow, seven days of the week or the phases of the moon lasting approximately seven days being just a few examples. This number appears in folk sayings and is often considered to be lucky.
