It may be a snow day out there today but we’re reminiscing about the beautiful sunshine we had on Monday and the arrival of lots of new wares in all their spring glory. We’ve filled our window with lots of Eilidh Muldoon’s beautiful landscape prints in spring colours. Mother’s Day is the perfect day to check out your local area and go for lunch. With so many beautiful areas in Edinburgh, we’re spoilt for choice on where to take our lovely mum. Eilidh has captured one of our favourites. Stockbridge in her new print additions.
Stockbridge was voted as one of the best places to live in the UK by The Times back in 2016. A beautiful area with a village like atmosphere featuring some of the best eateries and small boutiques in Edinburgh. This is one of our favourite areas to lose a Sunday indulging on local food at the now iconic Sunday Market, browsing the vintage shops and having a drink or two at the many watering holes. It’s Foodie Heaven!!
One of her most popular prints is of course of our very own beautiful Victoria Street. Full of colourful buildings and lots of small independent shops and eateries. Of course we’re biased but it is one of the most beautiful picturesque streets in Edinburgh 🙂 We love a print that evokes memories from special times and many of you are always on the look out for something to document your trip to our great city. This seems a somewhat bizarre blog to be posting today with such crazy weather out there. Mother’s Day usually coincides with the arrival of beautiful flowers and spring like colours.
