Celestial Cities – Saturn

Illustrator and Architect David Fleck’s love of architecture and art have meet in this folio of different cities, real and imaginary. With this projecthe has taken things to a whole new level, looking beyond earth and imagining cities scattered out in space. The 9 prints he has produced form a set representing the main celestial bodies in our solar system, from the Sun all the way out to Neptune.

The 9 prints in this series are a limited edition of 100, printed by hand using woodblocks, then signed and numbered. The paper is  Fabriano Rosaspina, a beautiful heavy cotton art paper.

Each print measures 35cm x 50cm (about 13.5″ x 19.5″) including a white border. The textures vary slightly between each print, and the final colours may vary slightly from those seen here, due to the print process.
