Himalayan Home A3 is a Limited Edition Collagraph Print by Rachael Hood

A3 Limited Edition Collagraph Print on white paper.

This One Plate Collagraph (Turquoise)  is a printing method which is more ephemeral as the plates are hand built using different textures to form a type of collage.

Rachael’s process for making collagraph prints is by drawing into a piece of mountboard using a scalpel. Layers of the board are gently peeled away to create texture and tone. The design is then hand printed by rolling them through a printing press. Part of the charm is that every print is slightly different, so please bare this in mind when ordering.

This Print was created for a book about India which was inspired after a month of travel around Rajasthan which was awarded the Tom Campbell Memorial Book Prize in 2016.

Print comes unframed.
