A detailed print of an originally hand embroidered artwork, “Sol” depicts Freya’s version of the Roman personification of The Sun. In anceint Roman Mythology, Sol was brother to Luna (Goddess of The Moon) and together they ruled the balance of night and day. As part of her “Equinox” collection, this piece explores the coming of Spring as the day and night reach equal length.
