Alison Laing

Alison Laing is a Painter and Illustrator based in Edinburgh.  She studied at ECA and Hochschule Luzern Design und Kunst. After graduating from BA(Hons) Illustration at Edinburgh College of Art in 2021, Laing went on to develop her artistic practice inspired by a semester spent studying in Switzerland.

Her work is often categorised by her use of bold brushstrokes and energetic mark-making as well as her affinity for experimentation with other disciplines such as textiles, embroidery, and printmaking.
