The Grey Earl

The Grey Earl is the moniker of talented illustrator ‘Jon Bishop’ who graduated from Dundee College of Art in 2005, Jon creates greetings cards and gifts with a distinct illustrative style and sense of humour that appeal to both adults and children alike.

‘Stars are Braw’ is his fresh, illustrated print range featuring a collection of Scottish twists on his favourite film franchise, this collection follows neatly on from his popular ‘Batboy’ series which is also available through The Red Door Gallery. This new exhibition of work brings a slice of Scottish humour to the world of science fiction and helps to celebrate some of its most loved (and loathed) characters.
