Wee Norrag

Wee Norrag is run by Angela, an artist from Inverness, Scotland.

Nature is an endless source of inspiration to Angela. From stormy skies to wild seas, from rugged hills to fluffy bog cotton, from intricate ferns to the carpet of fallen blossom leaves, beauty is all around. Wee Norrag has been her creative outlet since 2012 following the birth of her son. Angela named my business Wee Norrag as norrag is the Gaelic word for a wee snooze. Wee Norrag has ebbed and flowed over the years as her family grew and as work commitments have changed but it has been an important constant to Angela.

Her recent work aims to bring the outside in, bringing the patterns from nature into peoples’ homes, to remind us of the often overlooked beauty and energy that surrounds us in nature.
