Dancing in the street with our Star Children print
We are here to test our theory that a little less colour can go a long way and maybe even coin the phrase Colour-Less Is More! We have rounded up some new and older products that keep their colour palettes simple but their design brilliantly bold!
Print by Kasia Niemczynska
A3 print by Kasia Niemczynska
Kasia Niemczynska is an Edinburgh based illustrator and graduated from University of Marie Curie Sklodowska in Lublin Poland with Master Degree in Arts. Currently she works from her home studio in Leith, Edinburgh and we are very pleased to be stocking her work! We love the Chef print and its delicious noir lines illustrating an other-worldly Ramen dish. The beautifully drawn Generation Green is a strikingly detailed, an elegantly touched with colourful wee birds.
Rachel R Turner graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a degree in Painting and Drawing in 2015. She is also a member of The Red Door Gallery team, stocking the shop with a few of her illustration endeavours! Tomatoes At Dusk A4 Print is inspired by Rachel’s collection of rather a lot of Tomato Vines over the past year. They’re just so beautiful! It is a digital print of a pencil and ink sketch of her favourite vine & last tomato! Close Encounters A5 is based on the spooky ghost stories and creepy Closes (alleyways) unique to Edinburgh!
