Nicola Boon is a Scottish illustrator, currently working and living in Edinburgh. She graduated from DJCAD in Dundee in 2009, going on to study an MSc in Publishing in Edinburgh. Boon’s style of illustrating is usually monochrome, delicate and whimsical. Using fine lines and watercolour, to explore shape and expression in simple subjects, ‘transforming them into subtle messages of emotion.’ Not only does Boon make beautiful prints and maps but also wonderfully, fun pieces of jewellery! These little ‘Moon Stud Earrings’ are created with shrink plastic to produce these remarkably tiny illustrations for your ears, we’re simply over the moon with them!
