Using data from the highest point on the largest 55 Scottish Islands, the profile of each Island maps the summits on each Island. The two islands on the left represent the Hebrides, with the left hand side of each Island mapping the Outer Hebrides and the right hand side mapping the Inner Hebrides. The island on the right illustrates the Northern Isles with the summits in Orkney mapped on the left hand side and Shetland on the right hand side. The gaps in the sea chart the same data from North to South, top to bottom.
