Let’s get a closer look at our October Arrivals – it’s been a busy month with lots of new work and new designers adding fantastic pieces to our gallery collection. With the festive season almost upon us, here’s a great chance to get ahead of the gift giving game!

Loop Necklace by Aliyah Hussain

This is the Ceramic Loop Necklace by jewellery designer and visual artist Aliyah Hussain. It is made from glazed stoneware, a nylon and wood cord and 24k gold plated brass fittings. Hussain makes abstract, playful and sculptural work for the body with a focus on line, form and colour. Hussain’s jewellery collection is the result of her expanded drawing which Informed by her fine art practice. Great stuff!

July Screen Print by Seobhan Hope

July is part of a 12 month series of screenprints by Seobhan Hope. Each multi layer screenprint depicts a month of the year. This illustration is richly detailed with Tulips and berries and has us dreaming of lively summer days, appreciating the abundance of nature’s riches! What is your favourite month?

Stilts Riso Print by Lauren Morsely

Stilts by Lauren Morsley is a new circus themed risograph print. As an illustrator Morsley is continuously combining bright colours, bonkers characters, textures and patterns to make funky art that captures the imagination. We always smile when we recieve new prints by Lauren and her fun loving style is one to watch as her illustration career grows and grows!

The all new 2020 Illustrated Diary by Kirsty Baynham. This 12 month diary is illustrated with colourful geometric shapes and intricately, patterned animals – a bear, fox, bird and cat. The design runs along the top of each page throughout the book and the dates are printed in a weekly format. There is also extra space to jot down notes under each date, an ideal gift for the busy bees!

Ahoy, it’s the Compass Hankie by Mr PS! This heartfelt handkerchief is screenprinted with a vintage compass image, and the words: By your side through choppy waters. Together over calm seas – written around the compass circumference. Near. Far. Home. Away – noted around the direction dial. And in the centre: Always Here – encloses a little heart.

The 2020 Pinboard Calendar by Wald is an innovative take on the traditional wall calendar. With its canny piece of cork board you can pin up important pieces of info alongside important dates! A satisfyingly functional piece of stationary that  is elegant, stylish and very cool in its cleverness! 🙂
