A 2-colour hand-printed linocut entitled ‘Pied Wagtail’.
James Green is somewhat drawn to creating prints of birds, especially those native to the UK and has seen this bird occasionally in his neighbourhood, and once or twice in his garden. They don’t seem as common as other garden birds, so it is always a nice surprise to see one from the studio window, enthusiastically wagging its tail (as the name suggests!).
Dark grey and light blue ink on off-white Daler-Rowney 220gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 100, signed and numbered.
